In total, 8 members of Wells City Archers took part in both Junior and Senior categories, with archers shooting both sighted recurve and barebow bow styles.
Enjoying their first competition, Galahad & Roberta Bland came 3rd and 4th respectively in junior competition, a fantastic achievement considering they only completed their ‘beginner’s course’ in June of this year.
Not to be outdone by ‘the new kids on the block’, WCA also enjoyed success with Hazel Boucher winning the Ladies’ Senior Recurve title and Mike Parkes placing 3rd in Men’s Senior Barebow.
